Difficult internal inspection and maintenance：The box – type end beam has a closed structure, and its internal space is not easily accessible. Conventional inspection methods are difficult to comprehensively cover, making it hard to detect problems in a timely manner.
Relatively high cost：The box – type end beam has high requirements for welding quality and a relatively complex manufacturing process. Coupled with the extensive use of materials, the manufacturing cost is relatively high.
