Recently, several customers have purchased our European-style chain hoists. These chain hoists have been manufactured and are now undergoing strict factory tests. Once they pass the tests, they will be delivered to the customers.
This batch includes chain hoists with load capacities of 125KG, 200KG, and 250KG, as well as customized products from different customers, which are adaptable to the standard voltages of different countries.
The factory tests include the following:
I. Mechanical Performance Tests
1. Lifting Performance Test
Check whether the lifting speed of the hoist under the rated load meets the standard, and whether the lifting process is smooth, without any abnormal phenomena such as jamming or shaking.
2. Load Performance Test
Lift a weight equal to the rated lifting capacity of the chain hoist to check whether it can lift, lower, and remain stable in the air normally, and test its operating performance under the rated load.
3. Chain and Hook Test
Carry out tensile and strength tests on the lifting chain and hook to check their load-bearing capacity under the ultimate load, ensuring that the chain and hook have sufficient strength and wear resistance.
4. Brake Test
Inspect the braking performance of the brake, including braking distance and braking reliability. Test whether the brake can quickly and effectively stop the movement of the chain hoist under the rated load and overload conditions, and keep the weight from slipping in the stationary state.
5. Lifting Height Test
Measure the minimum distance between the two hooks of the chain hoist and the actual lifting height to ensure that they meet the requirements of product design and relevant standards, so as to meet the usage needs of different working scenarios.
6. Vibration and Noise Test
Apply vibrations with different frequencies and amplitudes to the chain hoist to detect its vibration response, and check whether there will be component loosening, abnormal noise, or other malfunctions due to vibration. Use a noise tester to measure the noise level of the chain hoist during operation to ensure that the noise does not exceed the limit specified by relevant standards.
II. Electrical Performance Tests
1. Insulation Performance Test
Use equipment such as an insulation resistance tester to measure the insulation resistance of electrical components such as the motor and control system to ensure good insulation performance.
2. Grounding Performance Test
Check whether the grounding system is reliable and measure the grounding resistance to ensure that the grounding resistance meets the standard requirements, so as to ensure that in case of an electrical fault, the current can be safely conducted to the ground.
3. Motor Operation Test
Detect the starting and operating states of the motor, including whether parameters such as the starting current, operating current, and voltage of the motor are within the normal range, and whether the motor operates smoothly without abnormal noise, overheating, etc.
4. Control Function Test
Test the control system of the chain hoist to verify whether each control button, switch, etc. are flexible and accurate in operation, whether the control of functions such as lifting, lowering, and left-right movement is normal, and whether safety functions such as limit switches and overload protection are effective.
III. Protection Performance Tests
1. Protection Level Test
According to relevant standards, conduct dust-proof and waterproof performance tests on components such as the casing of the chain hoist to ensure that under various harsh working environments, the internal electrical and mechanical components are not eroded by dust, moisture, etc.
2. Surface Treatment Test
Check whether the anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatments on the product surface meet the standards to ensure that the chain hoist can be used for a long time under different environmental conditions without problems such as rusting that affect its performance and service life.
Finally, check whether the appearance of the chain hoist is intact, without obvious scratches, deformations, corrosion, uneven paint surfaces, etc. Check whether the installation of each component is firm, and whether the nameplate, markings, etc. are clear and accurate.
